Leader in the world of immersive exhibitions, Tandem Expositions presents a creative biographical exhibition on the extraordinary career of Diane Dufresne: L’exposition immersive, Aujourd’hui, hier et pour toujours.
Presented in agreement with the artist, supported by her close collaborators, an exhibit hall of over 15,000 square feet is dedicated to showcasing the work and legacy of this grande dame of the francophone on-stage performance, who is celebrating her 80th birthday this year.
The artistic proposal of the exhibition draws its inspiration from specific themes such as: creativity, which remains at the heart of her artistic life; interaction with the audience; her atypical career spanning the entire Francophone world; her work in parallel with history of Quebec in the past 65 years; her consecrated role as a Diva; her unique vocal talent; and of course, the importance of her stage productions and numerous eccentric costumes, true works of art that have left a lasting impact on the imagination of multiple generations. Numerous audiovisual elements (performances and music videos), personal archives, remastered albums, and artifacts from 1966 to the present day shed light on the rich legacy of this legendary Quebecois artist who has revolutionized the art of the stage throughout the french-speaking world.
