The TD Cultural Tuesdays are expanding its winter programming with a surprise event, in collaboration with the 10th edition of the Art Souterrain Festival - Labor Improbus

Under the theme of hard work, the festival will present, in the heart of the exhibitions, the performative installation Strange Fruit by artist Stanley Février. A true allegory of the social pressures exerted by the system, the work generates a participative space in which the visitor is invited to gather and transform cotton.

Exploring the strong affiliations between work and slavery, Février tries to provoke encounters, reflections and confrontations around his installation by inviting the public to intervene as an actor of the construction of his own history.

From March 3rd to April 7th, the Art Souterrain Festival will present the work of Naomi Dodds, Nelson Henricks and Stanley Février in the heart of the exhibition spaces. In different manners, these artists explore the concept of work, examining how it tends to build our society.
