In collaboration with TD Bank Group, Arsenal Contemporary Art Montreal invites you to the first TD Cultural Tuesday of the winter-spring 2019 programming. This edition will feature comedian Jean-Thomas Jobin for a discussion about contemporary art.
In our spaces, Jean-Thomas Jobin will tell us what he thinks about contemporary art during a discussion taking the form of an interview with Dominique Toutant, Galerie Division’s director and longtime friend of Jobin. A night that will certainly make one laugh!
Please note that the discussion will take place in French.
ABOUT - JEAN-THOMAS JOBIN
Jean-Thomas Jobin is a Quebecois comedian with an absurd world. He was awarded many times for his shows. Among other things, he was crowned author of the year at the Les Olivier 2016 gala.
ABOUT - DOMINIQUE TOUTANT
Dominique Toutant has been director of Galerie Division since 2011. Founded in 2008, Galerie Division represents Canadian and Quebecois contemporary artists whose artworks are collected by museums and corporations.
ABOUT - TD CULTURAL TUESDAYS
The purpose of the TD Cultural Tuesdays is to bring contemporary visual art into dialogue with other artistic practices. From 6 to 9, these gatherings take the form of events allowing the convergence of different audiences in a friendly atmosphere.
